Have shifted my blogging address to http://www.shibani.net
The one who once made me cry went away crying
The one who once made me cry went away cryingHe will be crying when he remembers the love
that once he didn’t know how to care about
He will be crying when he remebers the love
that once he didn’t know how to care aboutThe memory will be with him wherever he goes
The memory will be forever with me wherever I goDance, sun and sea I will keep them in my look in my eyes?
The love makes you lose and find
I will be dancing lambada when I remember that this love
For a day, for an instant was the kingThe memory will be with him wherever he goes
The memory will be forever with me wherever I goHe will be crying when he remember the love
that once he didn’t know how to care about
Song, laugh, and pain, love melody
a moment that stayed on the air
If you’re wondering what that is, it is the translation fo La Lambada by Kaoma. I have always loved the music of this song and wondered what the lyrics and the meaning is. People have defamed it called it ‘dirty dancing’ but it is not. Lambada originates from Brazil and is a very sensual dance. Here’s for those who understand the language
A recordação vai estar pra sempre aonde eu forDança, sol e mar guardarei no olhar
O amor faz perder e encontrar
Working – designed a layout, converting it into HTML, thinking its a 15mins job…ok, 30 mins job..na, 1 hour is fine or perhaps 2 hours. But hey, what’s this, I’ve spent almost an entire day to fix up this nasty bug and formatting issue. WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON!! Screaming, cursing, snarling, etc and etc and etc…
…and this is precisely what happens. Why on earth do we have so many browsers. As if IE, Firefox, Opera & Netscape were not enough of a pain, we also have to make sites work in AOL, Safari, ABC and the entire gamut. Someone please have mercy on the poor web designer! This diagram depicits my state of misery. Infact, I would like to go beyond it and say that the best thing would be to have one version of Firefox (version1.5), and trash all the other browsers with all their fancy versions. Oh, all mighty HTML, please help!

Here’s one more mesmerizing track from Enigma from their album ‘A Posteriori‘ (Latin for “what comes after” – meaning “something gleaned from experience”). They always come up with something memorable and deep. I can visualize myself walking among the stars, along the galaxy, trying to find my way and being enchanted by heartrending sights of nature. That’s how magical Engima’s music is – you feel yourself transcending through time, through earth, water, fire, space and your innermost self.
Shall I go?
Shall I stay?
107 light years away, many times, so many doubts…
but no reason to talk about…Mission is over, mission is done,
I’ll miss you children of the sun
but it’s time to go away, Goodbye, Goodbye Milky way!For a better world without hate, from your heart believe in fate
only visions and the mind will guide you to the light.Mission is over, mission is done,
I’ll miss you children of the sun
now it’s time to go and say, Goodbye, Goodbye Milky way!Mission is over, mission is done,
I’ll miss you children of the sun
I’ll get born this one day,
I say Goodbye, Goodbye Milky way!In 5 billion years
Andromeda galaxy will collide with our Milky way,
a new gigantic cosmic world will be born…
Sometimes, I wonder how much crap audiences can take. Television has such idiotic soaps and serials that totally scr*w your brains. As if that wasn’t enough, they have reality shows where it is almost compulsory for the participants to cry and overreact. Eeeks! They didn’t even leave dance shows. The latest to join this nonsense is Nach Baliye. What crap do they show and yet people get carried away by it. It really gets on my nerves to see so much overacting and drama from participants. They just spoil the fun of good dance performances. Anyways, I hope Tanaz and Bakhtiyaar win – they really make a cute couple and dance very well.
I disappear…no, not the song from Metallica for Mission Impossible. My internet was down a hell lot this week. So, I couldn’t post stuff here ontime and am putting them as and when I had written them down. I really hate my ISP. The engineer came to check the net line today, after lodging a complain during the start of the week. I want to change my connection asap. I think MTNL offers a good deal – might just check that out. For someone who is so addicted to being online, even if I’m not on chat or checking mails, having the net down is like suffering. Anyways, hoping that its going to be ok now.
This is really cool tutorial on stoning people’s pictures. Actually, a bondhu (friend) of mine found this online. The trick is to use basic layer effects. I don’t remember the url I got this from but isn’t this cool…or should I say, freaky?!
I’ve done this one in a rush, I’ll try to improve it as and when I get time. You can use a combination of blur and stamp effects to enhance your stone scuplture
Ever wondered what those strange voices were, the same ones that told you to do or refrain from doing something. Don’t you feel that your head is spinning with all those words running through your mind. Not your conscience, its the little sneaky yellow smiley, smugly smiling inside, thats creating this mischief. Believe me, I have proof.
This one was inspired from Deep’s blog. It’s really nice, atleast I thought so. I loved the hugs – a nice heartfelt hug to just make you forget all your worries, anger and disgust.
Excerpt from YouTube:
Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, a man whose sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives. In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal.

Like my niece says, it’s ‘huggie time’. Go ahead, give someone a hug today. It could just make his/her day 🙂
